We are proud to bring you our range of Giraf Macadamia Milks, carefully made with our finest macadamia nuts.
All our farms are AmberGAP certified to ensure sustainability and Good Agricultural Practices to ensure harmony with our local ecosystems and support for our local communities and wildlife populations.
The process of growing the perfect macadamia nut takes years. It takes two years to prepare the soil and plant the saplings, then another four years of careful nurturing before the trees are ready to produce nuts. And that’s when the real work begins! Irrigation, fertigation, bee pollination of macadamia flowers, considerate management of the insect ecosystem, all to produce the perfect nut while maintaining sustainability and balance with the landscape.
Once harvested, the nuts are de-husked and air dried before arriving at our cracking factory in White River. The macadamia nuts are further cured before being cracked, sorted and packed, with some of our finest grades being made into premium macadamia milk.
We are passionate about our products and maintain full traceability of all our macadamia nuts until they reach you. Please feel free to contact philip@girafmacadamia.com should you have any questions at all.
